Emerging Leaders Workshop

The Emerging Leaders Workshop will provide young professionals (YPs) an opportunity to meet and network with their peers and senior industry executives to discuss pertinent issues related to YPs working in the industry. There will be presentations from industry professionals, coupled with mentored discussions and group activities.

Education Week

Education Week is organised for up to 100 of the best 3rd and 4th year undergraduate university students who major in science, geoscience and engineering from international institutions. Selected students from around the world will have their travel and accommodation funded by IPTC in order to attend this week-long programme held concurrently to the IPTC event.

This programme is designed to provide students with a clear insight into the energy industry. Students will be given opportunities to work on a joint project and extend their networks, as well as meet with major industry players who are constantly searching for fresh talent.

Education Day

Education Day is an initiative to introduce high school students and teachers to the various disciplines related to the energy industry. Up to 100 selected local high school students will be invited to attend the conference and exhibition. In addition to a guided a tour of the exhibition hall, they will benefit from listening to presentations from industry professionals and participating in hands-on STEM learning activities. Students and teachers will gain a better understanding of the industry and its role in the broader community.

Teachers Day

Teachers’  Day invites local high school science teachers to learn how to teach energy topics in a hands-on, innovative way. Educators will receive comprehensive, objective information about the science concepts of energy and its importance, while discovering the world of oil and natural gas exploration and production. A variety of free instructional materials will be available to take back to the classroom.
